House of Hiranandani, a leading real estate developer known for its integrated communities, unique architecture, and design, in association with Isha Foundation’s (a non-profit founded by Sadhguru) Isha Hatha School of Yoga, had organized a Yoga & Mindfulness workshop at The Walk in Hiranandani Estate, Thane. The workshop took place on Sunday morning to celebrate International Yoga Day, observed on June 21.
Residents from Hiranandani Estate and neighbouring areas benefited from the workshop by learning various asanas, techniques of Nadi Shuddhi – a guide to channel positive energy in the body and Isha kriya meditation that were taught by experts from the Yoga school.
House of Hiranandani has elevated the luxury living experience by enabling its residents to establish connections with different elements of living such as nature, community, fitness, leisure, etc. It recently kicked off a campaign, ‘Connect’ to reemphasize the ideology and importance of staying connected with various aspects of life.
The Yoga and mindfulness workshop was envisaged to establish ‘Connect with Self’, an essential arm of the ‘Connect’ campaign. It aimed to enable the audience to establish a ‘connect with self’ in the fast-paced life by performing age-old yogic practices and kriyas. The yoga experts interacted with the audience to explain the importance of Yoga in day-to-day life and how one could achieve a balance in life by practicing a simple yoga routine.
Participants at the workshop appreciated the event and the important lessons shared by the yoga experts. “The workshop was an eye-opener for me. Simple yogic practices can contribute immensely in helping us lead a healthy and fit life,” said Shruti M, a resident of the township.
