Srijjan Foundation inaugurated 10th edition of it’s flagship T20 Cricket extravaganza Srijjan Premier League in Grand style. Golden Days SPL-10 started with a Para Cricket Match played between Wheel Chair Teams of Delhi & Haryana. Some spectacular performances were seen in the 1st Match with Delhi winning the Match riding on the superb knock by it’s Vice Captain Saurabh Malik who hit a century off 52 balls.
This match was organized to motivate the specially abled players who are not defined by their disability, but by character and strength. These players gave an inspiration to a gathering of more than 600 people that despite facing physical, sensory, or intellectual challenges, they show incredible strength, perseverance, and resilience in their daily lives, with a positive attitude and a determination to succeed.
The Inauguration was graced by Padma Shri Yogeshwar Dutt(Olympic Medalist), ACP Richpal Singh and many Eminent personalities of Jain Community Sh Mangilal Sethia, Sh Shailendra Surana, Sh Subhkaran Bothra, Sh Panna Lal Manot, Sh Shanti Jain, Sh Jodhraj Baid, Sh Govind Bafna, Sh Kamal Jain Sethia, Chairman Mohit Manot, Vice Chairpersons Sh Lalit Lunia & Ms Vandana Jain, General Secretary Ms Preeti Pagaria, Treasurer Sh Rajesh Bengani and Convenors Sh Vinay Raijada & Sh Sushil Bothra and members of Srijjan Foundation.
Padma Shri Yogeshwar Dutt emphasized on organizing frequent such matches for specially abled people and inspired people to include sports in their daily life. Chairman Mohit Manot uplifted the morale of both the teams with his motivating words and assured them that Srijjan Foundation will keep supporting such specially abled talented players in the future. He conveyed his best wishes to all the participating teams for spectacular performances in the tournament. This 5 day Cricket league will surely bring out some extraordinary talents amongst youngsters and provide an excellent platform to them for showing their skills.
