Chennai, 16 August 2023 – G Square, South India’s largest plot promoter and Tamil Nadu’s No.1 Real estate developer on the occasion of Independence Day announced a CSR initiative to donate essential educational accessories to a government school in Ponpadi, Tiruthani.
The initiative was conducted in the presence of Former Member of the Legislative Assembly, Thiru. P.M Narasimhan and Police Inspector of Tiruthani, Martin. Under the scheme, G Square provided tables, chairs, smart TVs, printers, and uniforms for the students of this school. The initiative at large aimed at lending assistance to the already existing government’s plan of upgrading the development of the village and further providing various welfare assistance to the people of the Ponpadi.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Bala Ramajeyam, Managing Director of G Square Realtors Private Limited said, “Almost ten years ago in its initial stage of business, G Square Company aggregated and sold a large parcel of land in Ponpadi village to Muruguppa Group of Industries.
We believe this deal to be very auspicious and a sign of prosperous business, as this deal laid the foundation for our current growth to being South India’s largest plot promoter, having a presence in more than 9 cities, catering to more than 10000 customers and delivering them with more than 2000 plots of land. Our emotional attachment to this location makes us feel responsible to develop this locality among many others. Our land aggregation business here years ago, helped numerous people attain employment, so we felt this is the right time to provide their children with quality education through various modern educational accessories. Considering that education is a highly important tool for a village’s development and future, we had to ensure that the schools here are to be provided with various equipment to raise the standard to the level of private schools in urban cities and further improve the educational standards of the students. We have also organized painting works to be carried out throughout the school to make it a colorful place of learning. This is, however, first of the many developments in line to launch Ponpadi to modern living.”
G Square has also organized for the school to be redecorated with new painting works to elevate the ambience of the school.
