Manipur, November 2022: Amidst the high demand for healthcare services in Manipur, Tattvan E-Clinic recently launched its first telemedicine centre in collaboration with Royal Clinic, Bihsnupur in Manipur.
Tattvan E-Clinics have been working towards eradicating healthcare challenges at the grassroots level in India. The newly opened centre in Manipur will provide with best medical advice from specialist doctors, enabling local communities easy access to healthcare services. The centre was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Sanasam Rowet (Chairman- Medystar Healthcare Solutions), Mr S. Kulabidhu Singh (Ex-Pramukh, Bishnupur) & Mr K. Bheirob Sharma (Retd. BDO Bishnupur) as chief guests of the event.
Observer Research Foundation analyses that public expenditure per capita on health care is much higher in Manipur at least three times that of U.P & Punjab but geographical demographics exacerbate the challenges. In hilly areas like Manipur, there are many challenges that act as a barrier to transportation and other services. This makes it difficult for people to travel long distances back and forth which results in a shortage of staff & manpower in adjacent areas where these services are needed. This is a step that will contribute to the health infrastructure of the region & help the locals by giving adequate access to healthcare services conveniently. Enabling the local communities to get access to Tattvan’s medical advice from healthcare professionals.
