Investiture Ceremony at Pacific World School saw the induction of newly appointed School Council Members

Pacific World School, after a gap of two years, organised a splendid Investiture Ceremony in all pride and glory to induct newly appointed members to the Student Council body.

The occasion was marked with opulence and grandeur in the presence of beamingly smiling students ready to take their responsibilities associated with their respective roles.

The Investiture Ceremony was also a special conclave as it took place after a halt of two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, which had forced the school to close.

The ceremony took place on August 17th, in which the newly elected school cabinet received their prestigious badges and sashes from the revered Guest of Honour- Ms Meeta Rai.  The students were honoured by her presence as she has a legacy of 44 years in the field of education, esteemed Chairperson Ms. Santosh Bansal Pro Vice Chairperson- Ms Nidhi Bansal, who is The Rock of Gibraltar’ of this edifice of learning, and Principal -Ms. Pooja Bose, who is the crème de la crème of unsurpassed commitment, dedication and vision, graced the occasion and conferred badges to students.

The 2022 Student Cabinet had members such as Head Boy-Pratyush Priyadarshi and the Head Girl- Manya Gupta, along with Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, Cultural President, Cultural Captain, Student Secretary, Sports Captain and Vice Sports Captain. The Captains and Vice Captains of all three houses -Fraser, Daintree and Columbia took a pledge to fulfil their responsibilities in a dutiful way. The Class Prefects were also honoured at the Investiture ceremony. A Soft Skills Prefect was also a new addition to the list of appointments made this year to shoulder responsibilities efficiently and emphasise on the development of Soft skills among children.

Ms Pooja Bose endorsed the mantra of humility and responsibility and encouraged students to carry their positions in an efficient and sedulous way.

In addition to that, the top performers of the first batch of Class Xi Session 2021-22 were felicitated by Ms Meeta Rai for their outstanding results in board exams. Their names have been engraved in the annals of Pacific World School as a token of appreciation for them and to serve as a source of inspiration for others. The school basked in the glory of the success of its learners, which also marked its first step to embark on its academic odyssey of Board results.
