Over 70 percent of the questions UPSC Prelims 2022 solvable using ToppersNotes study material

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted its coveted UPSC CSE Prelims 2022 earlier this month. One of the toughest examinations in the country, about 10 lakh candidates register each year. In a major milestone, ToppersNotes has achieved a 70% success rate for the 2022 examination, in which over two-thirds of questions came directly or indirectly from the organization’s study material.

If one had read the study material by ToppersNotes, he/ she would definitely be able to solve 35 out of the 45 questions in the static category fully or partially solvable. The same stands true for the current affairs and general knowledge questions, where a ToppersNotes student could solve 32 out of the 46. For mix questions too, 5 were fully solvable using the notes.

“We are glad to report that the ToppersNotes package of services contributed to over 71 percent of the questions in the most recent UPSC Prelims 2022; of these, 56 percent could be solved directly and 15 questions could be solved partially with the help of the package. It makes us proud to see that finally, a UPSC aspirant from a small town who had to invest lakhs of rupees in coaching and tens of thousands of rupees on study material can now crack the prelims just by spending less than Rs 5,000 rupees on our material and by self – study,” says Ayush Agrawal, founder and CEO, ToppersNotes.

ToppersNotes provides a package of study material that includes notes, test series, current-affairs, and practice questions all interlinked to boost the preparation of aspirants and reduce the need for coaching. The ToppersNotes CSE package includes a set of 14 books, a ToppersNotes Practice App, a ToppersNotes UPSC CSE(P) Test Series, Daily current affairs (both ToppersNotes Current Affairs App and pdf (ToppersNotes Saar), Daily quiz, and a monthly magazine by the name CA360°.

The current milestone is aligned with its vision to empower aspirants from Tier 2 and below cities who do not have proper access to quality education due to affordability and accessibility issues.

The UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination held on the 5th of May, 2022 tested candidates in Economics, Polity, Environment, Geography, Science and Technology, Modern History, Art and Culture, Medieval India, Current Affairs and Schemes.

The 2022 pattern came as a surprise for many candidates, as UPSC has not just dived deeper into the topics but has also changed its question pattern. The level of questions was (as expected) on the moderate to tough side but the new pattern made it tougher by reducing the chances of option elimination. Only a well-read and well-prepared aspirant can clear this year’s Prelims, says ToppersNotes.

It is notable that one of the toughest examinations in the country, cracking UPSC prelims is the first step toward becoming a civil servant in India.
