CMRU orientation

Bengaluru (India), 15 November 2022: CMR University, one of Bangalore’s leading private universities, today inducted a new batch of Engineering undergrads at the ‘Undergraduate Inauguration & Orientation Programme’ for the School of Engineering and Technology at CMR University Main Campus, Bagalur, Bengaluru.

The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Vaidyanathan R Iyer, Chief of Operations (APAC) at IBM Security Command Center. The other dignitaries present on the occasion included the Chairman of CMR University & CMR Group of Institutions, Shri KC Ramamurthy along with the Chancellor, Dr. Sabitha Ramamurthy, and Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sanjay Jain.

Dr. Suja kicked off the inauguration by addressing the gathering. She welcomed the students to their journey at CMR and wished them all success in the upcoming 4 years. She introduced the crowd to the chief guest of the day.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Mr. Vaidyanathan R Iyer said, ”I feel grateful to be considered worthy of being honored to be a part of the ‘Undergraduate Inauguration & Orientation Programme.’ To all the students, my advice is to never consider anything a failure. As long as you remain focused on your objective, even failures are building blocks to success.”

The School of Engineering and Technology is housed at the vast and beautiful Main Campus of CMR University, Bagalur. The facilities include in-campus hostels, a basketball court, multi-faceted science laboratories, a splendid library, and an awe-inspiring view of Bengaluru Lake.

Addressing the students, CMR University Chairman, Shri KC Ramamurthy said, “I urge all of you to shed your inhibitions and participate in this journey of learning, communicating, experimenting, and growing.
