19th November ‘ 2022, Hyderabad: Techwave, a leading global IT and engineering solutions provider, celebrated International Men’s Day across the globe. As part of International Men’s Day, Techwave collaborated with a charity organization to raise awareness about Men’s health on a global scale and led positive conversations about men’s wellbeing. Men across diverse backgrounds of all ages participated in the initiative aimed at fostering positive expressions of men’s health.
November holds a special significance because of “Movember”, a month-long event where men grow moustaches to highlight the health issues such as prostate cancer and testicular cancer. In commemoration of Men’s Day, Techwave collaborated with Movember, a leading charity organization that advocates the health and well-being of men by raising awareness, reducing crises, and promoting wellness. Several employees grew moustaches for the occasion to raise funds for The Movember Foundation. In conjunction with Movember, Techwave encourages everyone to promote a holistic approach towards enhancing physical and mental health by way of raising awareness about prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention.
Additionally, Techwave recognized the accomplishments and contributions of male employees around the globe. Throughout the day, a diverse group of men of all ages engaged in fun games and participated in a global panel discussion focusing on men’s mental and physical well being, celebrating diversity, and sharing their achievements. A stellar lineup of male leaders from varying walks of life shared their life stories and experiences during the virtual event.
Speaking on the occasion of International Men’s Day, Mr. Raj Gummadapu, CEO, Techwave, said, “We are delighted and proud to celebrate International Men’s Day.
